The ‘Annual Plantation week’ on Van Mahotsav was celebrated by Sanskar Vidya Sagar from 1st july to 7th july in the school. The science department organized a number of program as a part of ‘Go Green’ initiative of the school. The objective of the event was to sensitize and spread awareness among the students . On the occasion of ‘Gandhi Jayanti’ Shramdan acivities were held in the premises of Sanskar Vidya Sagar on 1st Oct. 2023. Under the Swachhata Hi Sewa campaign active involvement of students and teachers was observed to spread the message of cleanliness, sanitation and hygiene in the society. A cleanliness Drive-Ek Tareekh Ek Ghanta was undertaken in the school and its surrounding for one hour. Garbage from classes and surrounding areas was collected by students and teachers and transported to the designated points for solid waste management. Thus the objective of spreading the message of cleanliness, Sanitation and hygiene was achieved and finally the students were sensitized on the topic.

“Innovation is seeing what everybody has seen and thinking what nobody has thought” Learning and innovation go hand in hand. Learning is a process which is continuous and never exhaust the mind. In this creativity is thinking up new things , with this notion Sanskar Vidya Sagar participated in CBSE Science Exhibition conducted by CBSE every year. This year the theme was “Technology and Toys” and the school participated under the sub ⁷theme of “historical development with current innovation”. Students participated in both senior and junior categories with their innovative exhibits, conflation of technology and scientific knowledge to generate a toy to give out concepts of various subjects in a playway method. The students participated with their exhibits of Gyan Chaupaddh in senior category and Lakshya in the junior category. There were all together 71 exhibits from 44 schools in the regional level . In the junior category Mst. Sarthak and Mst. Divyanshu were selected for the National level of the exhibition. Their exhibit Lakshya imparts the concept of laws of reflection through the ancient act of Arjuna aiming at the fish’s eye, while looking only at its reflection in the water below. All the participants were acknowledged for their efforts with a participation certificate presented to them by Mr Rajesh Kumar Gupta Assistant Secretary CBSE (Pune region) It is a proud moment for the school and another feather added to the cap. In a progressive step towards holistic education, Sanskar Vidya Sagar proudly hosted a Health Awareness Program under the aegis of the Directorate of Ayush Maharashtra. This enlightening initiative was meticulously organized by Bhausaheb Mulak Ayurved Mahavidyalaya, Nandanvan, on the 21st of September, 2023. The event unfolded with a gracious Felicitation and Welcoming of the Guests, where experts and dignitaries in the field of health and wellness were acknowledged for their presence and contribution. The Introduction of the Program, skillfully presented, touched upon crucial aspects of health, including topics such as menstruation, addressing sexual harassment concerns faced by young girls, and the practice of meditation for overall well-being. This comprehensive approach aimed not only at physical health but also at fostering mental and emotional resilience among the students.The program was presided over by the esteemed Principal, Mrs. Shweta Deshpannde Ma'am, whose commitment to the well-being of the students was evident throughout the event. To commemorate the 3rd Anniversary of the NEP 2020 Sanskar Vidya Sagar organized a number of activities to sensitize students on the environmental concerns. Students planted saplings in the school premises and at home. Discussion , programs were organized on environmental concerns. Plantation befits were also discussed under Eco Club activites. Vanamahotsava was also organized to create awareness among the students for environment protection.

Today on 21st June 2023 9th International Yoga Day was observed by all the teachers, staff members and principal Shweta Deshpande ma’am of Sanskar Vidya Sagar. The students also contribute through videos yp mark the day. The theme of the day was’Yoga for Vasudhaiva Kutumbkam” or “Yoga for the welfare of all as one world, one family.” It raised awareness about the ancient physical and spiritual practice that yoga has brought to the world. All the participants exhibited yoga Postures heart and soul and promised to introduce this activity in their daily lives. The event came to a conclusion with the appreciation for all the Sanskarians by Principal and Vote of thanks by Leena Sharma ma’am.
On the auspicious occasion of Saraswati Poojan held at Sanskar Vidya Sagar on February 15, 2024, a heartfelt farewell was extended to the departing 10th graders. Seeking the blessings of Goddess Saraswati, the students embarked on a new journey with the wisdom and knowledge bestowed upon them. As a special acknowledgment, the GSB initiative, where students actively collected money for donation, received the highest recognition. The dedication and enthusiasm of the participants were celebrated with an award for the highest collection in this unique endeavor. Additionally, the event served as a platform to announce the prize distribution for the recently concluded Inter-Class Sports Competition, recognizing and honoring the athletic achievements of the students across different grades. To enrich the cultural experience, the students were treated to the screening of the movie "Char Sahibzade," providing them with valuable insights and lessons. The day concluded on a delightful note with a sumptuous lunch organized for all students, fostering a sense of togetherness and celebration among grades 1 to 10 at Sanskar Vidya Sagar.
On February 6, 2024, an exciting inter-house quiz competition took place at Sanskar Vidya Sagar. The competition featured various interesting topics, making it a challenging yet engaging event for all participants. Among the four houses that competed, the Blue House emerged as the victorious team, showcasing their knowledge and quick thinking. To add an extra layer of fun and involvement, audience rounds were also organized, allowing everyone present to participate and enjoy the quiz. The event not only celebrated academic prowess but also fostered a sense of unity and friendly competition among the houses. The Blue House's triumph was a testament to their teamwork and intellect, making the inter-house quiz a memorable and successful occasion at Sanskar Vidya Sagar.
On 27th Feb 2024, Sanskar Vidya Sagar school celebrated ‘Marathi Bhasha Gaurav Din’ Eminent Marathi poet Vishnu Vaman Shirwadkar, more popularly known by his pen- name ‘Kusumagraj”. This year the Marathi language department organized interesting activities for celebrating this day. Throughout the one –hour activity everyone conversed in the Marathi language. The event started off with the general introduction of Marathi Din given by respected principal of the school Mrs. Shweta Deshpande. Later a small dance presented by the students of 4th standard was really captivating . Many events were presented including ‘Abhanga’ sang by Saad Tijare from 4th standard made everyone from the audience speechless. Last came the most exciting segment of the event that was a small skit ‘Rang Sahityache’ presented by the students of 8th standard. Overall, the program was so amazing that its memory would be lasted for longer. The program was concluded by the state anthem followed by Nation Anthem.
As the CBSE is running a campaign to make each and every youth of school drug free with the responsibility of spreading awareness against all the ill- effects of drugs, School has organized a program under the title ‘No Drug Day’. The program had begun with the introductory speech containing information about the dangerous effect of drugs on the mental and physical health of the students. The enthusiastic students of the school performed a musical and amusing skit on the topic. The song containing the message of drug de-addiction was sung by the students of grade 8th and 9th for the commitment and affirmation to stay away from drugs and promoting a healthy lifestyle the oath was taken by the students . The vote of thanks was delivered to concluded the program . Also the rally was organized to create a deep impact of re-addiction. It displayed the banners with the slogans like ‘Say no to drugs’ on them. Students distributed e-cards to aware against drug abuse in the surrounding area of school.
In the premises of Sanskar Vidya Sagar, on 17th Feb 2024, on the occasion of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti various cultural programs were conducted , in order to create awareness in the young mind of the children regarding the valiant Maratha warrior, Shivaji Maharaj. The Program commence by garlanding the idol of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj by respected principal ma’am Mrs. Shweta Deshpande. The students of grade IV presented a beautiful song. The students also give speech on Shivaji Maharaj. Studnets of grade V presented a skit to make children aware of the life and good deeds of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. A small story was presented by a students of grade VIII and shared a few inspiring facts about his life. With the mesmerizing Shiv Garjana given by the girl of grade VII, the students took out a procession and performed lezim. Students impersonated as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Jijamata. It was an amazing learning experience that had a long- lasting effect on each mind.
